IN REVIEW: BRITISH MOTOR YACHT SHOW 2021

This June, we welcomed the return of the British Motor Yacht Show at Premier’s Swanwick Marina on the south coast. We were delighted to exhibit at this boutique show for the fourth time since launching the Argo Yachting brand back in September 2018, and this year we were able to display a series of Saxdor Yachts as well as a series of brokerage displays on our stand.

As we are based in Swanwick Marina, we were able to welcome our usual customers as well as new people to the show. Courtesy of the UK distributor, we displayed two Saxdor 200’s each with a different configuration and colour spec, giving customers the opportunity to step on board and compare both. This fantastic entry-level boat gives new boaters a way into a life on the water, whilst seasoned boaters could use the Saxdor 200 as an island run-around or even a ship-to-shore tender.

The motor yacht show started with a beautiful weekend of weather on the south coast, with five days of glorious sunshine and blue skies. Our sister company, Princess Motor Yacht Sales, displayed a great range of pre-owned and new Princess yachts including the new Princess S62, and models from the brokerage team including the Princess V48 and Princess 68. On the water, we displayed our fantastic Jeanneau 57 sailing yacht – a fine example of sailing at its very best – you can click here to view this yacht in detail.

Across the 9 days, we were able to welcome customers safely and comfortably yet again to this fantastic motor yacht show. The atmosphere was fantastic, and we appreciated the opportunity to welcome the return of our UK boat shows yet again. It has made us even more excited towards the return of Southampton International Boat Show in September! The 9-day extension to the British Motor Yacht Show proved so successful for all exhibitors that this format continues into next year’s show, which will take place from 14th – 22nd May.
